Singing for The Samaritans

“Some-times in our lives, we all have pain, we all have sorrow. But if we are wise, we know that there’s always tomorrow.” (Lean on me, Bill Withers)

We’ve all certainly seen and experienced a lot of pain and sorrow in recent times. If ever there was a time we need to have hope for tomorrow, it’s now. That’s just one of the reasons why I think it’s so apt that my virtual choir – The Dialing Tone Chorus – has recorded this powerful song – which reminds us all that there is always someone out there to listen and support us. Especially during these challenging times.

Our cover version of the Bill Withers’ classic ‘Lean on me’ – arranged by our musical director, Gitika Partington – is being launched at 10am today, on World Suicide Prevention Day 2020, in support of the The Samaritans.
